What a great wedding this was just before Christmas, I think Becky and Ian had seen this day in the future, if it had been the day before we might not have got there as the roads were too bad and the next day had cloud and more snow.

We met Becky and her parents at the Carpenters Arms near by to get some shots of the dress and shoes and then headed off to Priston Mill to be greeted with rolling fields with 4 inches of fresh snow and blue sky’s.

The day was so much fun and a great experience for me shooting in the snow but unfortunately the light goes so fast this time of year and I always say to couples who are getting married in the winter try and arrange your ceremony time as early as possible to take advantage of the light that is available.

Once everyone was inside in the warm we set up the evening studio, this is a great little addition to winter weddings as it can be a form of entertainment for the guests until the evening party starts + you gets lots of extra pictures on your disc.

Got to say Becky & Ian were amazing no worrying about the cold, they just wanted those wedding shots in the snow.
